Daryl Dixon to be the Hero of The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land
After the cancellation of Silent Hills many people may have wondered if Norman Reedus would appear anywhere else in the gaming world. Looks like his likeness will make an appearance, when his character Daryl Dixon appears in The Walking dead: No Man’s Land.
A mobile action-strategy game by Next Games sees players trying to survive the post-apocalyptic world of The Walking Dead. The player has to control a group of survivors, making hard choices and battling to survive the oncoming horde of the undead.
Reedus’ character Daryl Dixon will train the party with the skills required to survive. Dixon will guide the player through the tutorial for the game before you head out to battle the walkers in locations from the television show.
Teemu Huuhtanen, CEO at Next Games had this to say about the game:
“The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land is devotedly crafted for The Walking Dead fans. We are very excited about the momentous opportunity to bring one of the most adored TV shows into the mobile realm in collaboration with our partner AMC, the creators of the TV series. We combine IP, TV show talent and join forces with AMC in a never-seen-before way. This game is a big first step in Next Games’ strategy to become the premier partner for TV networks, movie studios and beyond who aspire to work with a veteran game studio in extending their IP into mobile games.”
As you can see from the trailer released this is a standard combat game for mobile and tablet devices.
