It will be a ‘Very Long Time’ Before Bethesda Discusses the Next Elder Scrolls Game
It will be a very long time before we will see another Elder Scrolls game, Bethesda has said.
It has been around 4 years since the release of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and almost a year since The Elder Scrolls Online hit the market. However, if you are hoping for another Elder Scrolls game, you are in for a long wait as stated by Bethesda’s VP of Marketing Pete Hines during an interview with DualShockers.
According to Hines, the entire studio is currently 100 per cent focused on finishing the upcoming Fallout 4. The only thing fans will be hearing about Elder Scrolls is new DLC coming for the console versions of The Elder Scrolls Online. Oh, and we do have The Elder Scrolls: Legends for iPad and PC, but that is just a card game.
Hines believes that it is going to be a ‘very long time’ before the studio will talk about what it will work on after finishing Fallout 4. Even after finishing the main game, the studio will probably be occupied with mod support on both PC and Xbox One, future DLC and expansion packs.
Fallout 4 is slated to release on Nov. 10, 2015 for PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.
