Dark Souls 3 Development Will Not Affect Bloodborne DLC, Says Miyazaki
Bloodborne DLC will come our way soon enough, but some of the fans were worried about the quality of content being affected by Dark Souls 3’s development.
Surely, working on a massive project like Dark Souls 3 takes a lot of time and attention from developers, so concerns over Bloodborne DLC being average, and not up to expectations, are genuine.
However, Miyazaki can handle both at the same time. The iconic developer has assured that he is capable enough to handle both projects, without screwing them up.
The bottom line is, I think I can do it. I believe I can do both the Bloodborne DLC and Dark Souls 3. This isn’t the first time I’ve had to work on two projects at the same time.
When I was doing Demon’s Souls, I was also working on Armoured Core: For Answer. Even for the original Dark Souls, I acted as producer and director.
Miyazaki said that whichever project has his name on it, will be of high quality.
As long as I am listed as game director on the end credits, there’s a certain level of quality the game needs to meet. I can guarantee that the game quality will reach that.
He further assured fans that same is the case with Bloodborne DLC and Dark Souls 3. Now all we have to do is wait for more details regarding Bloodborne’s DLC, surely it will blow us away.
We trust in Miyazaki-san!
