ID Software Discusses How DOOM’s Combat will Test Players’ Skills

By   /   Aug 6, 2015

Bethesda has put up a new E3 2015 interview that features the ID Software team discussing how the new DOOM will push a player’s combat skills to the max.

According to the developer, the main character in DOOM can be considered as ‘Bruce Lee on a skateboard in a skatepark’. The game will not give a player much of a breathing room because of the constant action going on.

Players will be able to strafe left and right, use ledges and double jumps to their advantage and to restrict monsters from overwhelming them. In addition to this, the game will give players audio and visual clues about the incoming attacks which will assist players in staying alive.

All in all, this is exactly something a hardcore fan will expect from DOOM. You can check out the entire interview from the video above and share your impressions with us in the comments section below!

The new DOOM is scheduled to release for PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.
