MGS 5 Gamescom Trailer Shows Bits of Storyline and Iconic Characters

By   /   Aug 5, 2015

Konami has put up an official Gamescom 2015 gameplay trailer for the upcoming MGS 5: The Phantom Pain. The said trailer teases bits of narrative, provides glimpses of characters, and shows off the dynamic in-game world.

The gameplay trailer is all about the quest for revenge, the on-going war, and shares bits and pieces of the game’s storyline. It also provides glimpses of iconic characters such as Kaz, Big Boss, Quiet, Skullface, and Ocelot. Moreover, you will also notice some of the gameplay features and the vast in-game open world.

All in all, the gameplay trailer does a fine job at keeping the hype train going at full pace, though I’m sorely disappointed to see Konami skip Kojima’s name in the opening credits.

In related MGS 5: The Phantom Pain news; we recently acquired a possible name list of all chapters and episodes to be featured in the game. Although it may contain potential spoilers for some, you can read up more here.

After bringing the release date of the PC version to coincide with consoles; MGS 5: The Phantom Pain is now scheduled to release across Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC next month on Sept. 1, 2015.
