Batman: Arkham Knight Patch 1.05 Adds Photo Mode and Reveals September DLC
While PC owners of Batman: Arkham Knight wait patiently for this month’s “Interim Patch” it looks like Playstation 4 just had their latest instalment of updates with patch 1.05. A hefty download, it comes with updates that include a new Photo Mode.
The actual size of the download differs based on which version of the game you have. If you are up to date, it will only be a 1.6 GB update. If this is based on a clean install of the game, the update will be 4.3 GB, which will take longer.
Here are the updates as listed in the changelog:
- Stability Fixes.
- New Feature: Photo Mode.
- New Feature: Force original voice-cast option for non-English territories.
- Support for August additional content.
- Updates for WB Play and Downloadable Content.
- General gameplay, graphics, audio, UI and localization fixes.
These updates are not only to improve performance but they also get the game ready for upcoming DLC. Photo Mode, while an option that is seen added to most games recently is an interesting option for a caped crusader trying to hide his identity. I hope that he won’t be taking too many selfies.
The upcoming DLC may have also been revealed on Reddit as Crime Fighter Challenge Pack 1 which will arrive in September.
Later, sometime this month we should also see the release of a PC patch which should improve performance as well as adding some graphical settings, including the ability to add support for over 30FPS. While this won’t push the game to a state that will see the re-release, it still may make people who still own the PC version of the game a little happier. Though don’t mention the Season Pass and DLC.
