Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Double XP All Weekend

Call of Duty Advanced Warfare

With this weekend being the one before the big release of the fourth and final DLC for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Sledgehammer Games are celebrating the fact with a weekend event. That is, the Xbox DLC release of course, the Playstation and PC gamers will still have some time to wait to get their hands on it.

This weekend though is about everybody. Anybody who plays multiplayer will get double XP points, making it the perfect chance to do some levelling up. The event will end August 3.

Reckoning brings four multiplayer maps (Overload, Quarantine, Fracture, and Swarm) to the game as well as the latest episode of the Zombies element of the game, Descent. Eagerly awaited by fans, while Xbox One and Xbox 360 players will be getting it first, the other players shouldn’t have too long to wait to get into the action.

While some of the latest weapons upgrades haven’t been available for the previous consoles, it’s nice to see them getting this final piece of DLC before the focus moves to Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. It will be interesting to see how the latest version of the game handles on the previous consoles and what the owners of the older hardware can expect for their game in terms of DLC in the future.

These are thoughts for the future though, this weekend is about getting into the battle and gaining the double XP points. I’m sure there will be plenty of players taking this opportunity to show off their skills and prepare themselves for Reckoning when it finally arrives on their PC or consoles.

Are you going to be playing Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare this weekend? Let us know your thoughts below.
