Batman: Arkham Knight Mod Lets Alfred Take Over Batman’s Job
If you are an owner of the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight the wait for the fixed game requires a lot of patience. The fact we’ll have to wait even longer for the Season Pass content means there is no end to the drama surrounding this game.
Today though we do have a perk that has appeared for PC owners, and that is the reveal of one of the first mods for the game. For those who ever wanted to see Alfred fight the crime on Gotham’s Streets now you have the chance.
While the video has been included I also have to add a spoiler warning for those who haven’t completed the game, or done the side missions. If you don’t want the story spoilt for you then don’t watch the video. Chances are though if you do own the game you’ve already completed it. Though some PC owners may still be waiting for the fixed game before they do make it all the way through.
Looking at the notes for the Alfred mod, he is restricted on what moves he can perform. He can’t do counter attacks, environmental takedowns or dual takedowns. Looking at the video though he still has the power to do a lot of damage to the thugs who stalk the streets of Gotham.
As we move into August, PC owners are looking forward to getting the Batman: Arkham Knight “Interim Patch” from Warner Bros. and Rocksteady Studios. Hopefully it will improve the games performance. The full fix still appears to be some time off, which will then see it finally return for sale.
After that, we may even find out some details about when the Season Pass content will also be available. I’m sure this is not high on the developers priority list, PC owners still haven’t had the chance to play in the first piece of story-driven DLC.
