Terraria Confirmed for Wii U and 3DS; Will be Playable at Gamescom 2015

505 Games has confirmed that the action-adventure sandbox video game Terraria is coming to Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

After a number of rumors, speculations, and online listings; the sandbox game has been confirmed for both Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U.

The confirmation comes via 505 Games official Twitter feed where the publisher also announced that anyone who attends this year’s Gamescom 2015 in August 2015 will get a chance to get the first hand experience of the game on these consoles:

#Terraria is coming to Wii U and 3DS, and you can play it at #Gamescom2015!

All we need now is a concrete release date.

In related Terraria news, the game recently received a new patch v.1.3 which adds plenty of new content to the game; especially in the game’s Expert Mode which makes enemies a lot harder to kill than before. To read up more, head over to the post!

Terraria is currently available for PC, Playstation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Playstation Vita, Microsoft Windows, iOS and Android-based devices.
