Street Fighter 5 Won’t Keep You Waiting, Simultaneous Worldwide Release Confirmed
Good news came out of the Hong Kong video game convention recently, the developers of Street Fighter 5 are going to treat everyone equally by a simultaneous worldwide release of the fighting game.
During the convention Capcom was represented by game producers Yoshinori Ono and Tomoaki Ayano who took to the stage with details on the title.
For the most part they were reiterating facts that we already know but the highlight came from Ayano who reassured that none of the regions will have to wait longer than the others in order to play Street Fighter 5.
We will have a simultaneous [Street Fighter 5] release all across the world. No region will be late, and everyone will be able to play at the same time.
On that note, Ono added that the decision of simultaneous release was also a gesture of gratitude towards Hong Kong fans who have supported the series throughout:
This is just a small expression of our gratitude to all of the people here in Hong Kong who’ve been supporting Street Fighter for so long.
In parallel news, the first brand new character for the game was revealed by the developers a couple of days ago, here’s everything that they shared.
We know that Capcom has a March 2016 release in schedule for the game, but so far they have revealed a specific date on which everyone will be able to join in together to play Street Fighter 5.
