While none of this is coming from the official sources, but there are rumors that Nintendo is going to launch a subscription service which is allegedly being called the N-Box.

Numerous rumors are turning up suggesting that a service to rival the Loot Crate is being planned.

The idea of Nintendo N-Box is that the service will provide merchandise and other products for example toys, postcards and clothes that have been designed with themes from famous franchises that will include but won’t be limited to Pokemon, Mario and Zelda.

For those of you who are interested, you guys will apparently be able to get subscribed to the service individually on a quarterly, biannual or annual basis.

Also, you would notice that the subscription looks similar to the Z-Box being offered by The Hut Group’s Zavvi which currently runs the official online store of the company.

We had told you at the start of the month that Club Nintendo has been shutdown. Back then it was also confirmed that details on the new service to replace this one will be shared very soon.

While we are not sure if the N-Box will end up being the promised replacement or not, it is evident that the subscription service will make use of at least some of the old licenses.

That being said, the service would also turn to be more of a rival to Loot Crate if Nintendo decides that they want to offer Amiibo using the N-Box.

We will talk more about the expanse of the service once official word is out.
