Capcom’s DLC lineup for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate has provided plenty to keep gamers busy. With a long list of updates, there is also plenty coming in future months.

Adding challenges, including end-game Gold Rathian and Silver Rathalos, this is what the update included:

  • 14 New quests
  • G Rank Gold Rathian
  • G Rank Silver Rathalos
  • 3 Armor sets
  • 5 Weapons
  • Magical Palico Equipment (July 17th)
  • Star Knight Hunter Equipment (July 17th)
  • 1 Bonus Palico: Brown Pal
  • 3 Guild Card backgrounds
  • 7 Guild Card titles

The Universal Studios Japan Star Knight equipment was delayed but is hopefully available too. These updates have been the fifth instalment that have been arriving over the last months, with content being provided from the likes of The Legend of Zelda, Sonic and Mario, Metroid and Animal Crossing. These downloads will still be available in the in-game DLC menu if you’ve not collected them yet.

To add this content to your game, connect the Nintendo 3DS to the internet and go to the in-game DLC menu. This is where you’ll find the list of downloadable content for the game. More downloads will be coming the first Friday of every month, which will start August 7, so be sure to check back then to see what has arrived.

With plenty of updates still to come, players focus will also be on what Monster Hunter will be offering in the future with Monster Hunter X.
