Hitman episode 2

According to Hitman ongoing closed-alpha tests, the game is appearing to be more CPU-dependant.

YouTuber, Polaric90 showed off the alpha build running on a GTX Titan X with all visual enhancements set to ‘Ultra’ at 1080p resolution. Despite running the game on one of the best GPUs in the world, Polaric90 managed to reach 40 frames per second, let alone 60 FPS. However, do note that we do not know the CPU used during the test.

The theory is further strengthened with tests conducted by another YouTuber DavideLolli97 who ran the build on a GTX 970 coupled with an Intel i5 4690K and managed to attain 30 frames per second on 1080p ultra.

Lastly, when coupled with an Intel i7 4790K, the same GTX 970 managed to get stable 45 frames per second – a straight 10-15 increased frames per second.

However, one thing that you need to note is that the game is currently in its alpha stage and does not reflect the quality of the final build, but I am excited to see how it will fare on low-to-medium range GPUs and CPUs.

In related Hitman news, we have received a brand new footage of the game which welcomes back Agent 47 at the Paris Fashion Week. To watch the entire thing, head over to the post.
