New Doom Images Show The Hell That Awaits You

By   /   Jul 24, 2015

Bethesda has shared a new set of images for Doom, that are fresh out of Quakecon 2015. The game looks gorgeous and from the looks of it, the long wait for a new Doom was well worth it.

Doom was first shown during E3 2015, Bethesda showed a demo for the game which gave us chills down our spine. The game is set to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC; and is being developed by a team that worked on the Original Doom, Wolfenstein and Quake.

Bethesda said:

..with the new DOOM, id Software is both returning to the core of what made this famous franchise so furiously fun… while delivering something that can only be considered a new-gen shooter fully optimized for the latest generation of consoles and PC

There are three key elements of Doom; movement, guns and demons. Players will need to move fast, no hiding behind covers, and engage in relentless combat. You’ll play a lone soldier with just one goal, kill demons from hell.

Demon destroyers such as Super Shotgun, the chainsaw and, of course, the BFG will be available in Doom.
