Ubisoft Reveal their Gamescom Playable Line-Up
Gamescom is taking place August 5-9 in Cologne, Germany and many of the games companies are revealing their line-ups. Ubisoft will have a big presence at the event and today have confirmed what games will be on show.
At the event Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, Just Dance 2016, Tom Clancy’s The Division, For Honor, Trackmania Turbo, “and more” have been announced.
Syndicate will have a new playable demo for the event for gamers to try out. Other playable games will include For Honor, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, and The Division. With Anno 2205, Might and Magic Heoroes VIII and Trackmania Turbo also available.
Ubisoft will also be holding some competitions at the event:
- Just Dance World Cup – Players will be able to enter into qualifiers for the event, which may gain them an invite to the Grand Final at Paris Game Week in October.
- Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Showmatch – Saturday August 8, 4pm to 7pm CET, four teams composed of the best Rainbow Six players will participate in a 5v5 match on the ESL booth. This will also be streamed live on Twitch.
“Gamescom is a huge event for us and for players, and this year’s show promises to be one of our biggest and most fan-focused ever,” said Alain Corre, EMEA Executive Director, Ubisoft. “Understanding players’ initial thoughts and reactions to the games we’re developing is incredibly important, and by making the Ubisoft games at Gamescom playable, we’re hoping that attendees will have a much more interactive and memorable experience and that their feedback will be even more applicable to our creative teams.”
