2K Acquired Licenses for 10 College Teams, Might Be Added To NBA 2K16 MyPlayer Mode
We are closing in on this year’s installment of NBA 2K, the new title will release in just a few months with plenty of new content and improvements in gameplay.
Like almost every new game, reports and rumors are available in abundance and NBA 2K16 is no different. According to a new rumor, NBA 2K16 might feature some new college teams.
The basis of this rumor is some evidence that suggests that 2K just acquired licenses for some college teams. 2K got licences for 10 teams if a post on the Collegiate Licensing Company website is to be believed.
These collages included Arizona, Arizona State, Georgetown, Louisville, Michigan, Texas, UCLA, UCONN, Villanova, and Wisconsin. There is a chance that we may see these team via the MyPlayer mode in the game.
Surely, adding these teams will make the MyPlayer mode experience more authentic and realistic. The player you control will have to prove his skills and then be drafted into the big league like in real life.
Nothing is confirmed yet, so we can’t say for sure what 2K is planning to do with these licenses and 2K16. If these are going to be added, we should hear something about them in the near future.
