Planning on getting NBA 2K16 on your PC? We suggest you ensure your machine is good enough to handle it by checking out the recently released minimum and recommended system requirements for the game’s PC version.

So if you don’t have a 64-bit operating system you are out of luck – although that isn’t much to ask for – you will also, at least, need 2GB of RAM and DirectX 10.

The developers have shared both the minimum and the recommended system requirements that the PC version users of NBA 2K16 must have in order to enjoy the dribble as good as it gets. Here’s what you need to know:

Minimum System Requirements

  • Operating System: Windows 7 64-bit, Windows 8.1 64-bit or Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: Intel Core2 Duo or better (SSE3 or later)
  • Memory: 2 GB RAM
  • Graphics: DirectX 10.1 compatible (512 MB) or better
  • DirectX: Version 10
  • Hard Drive: 50 GB available space
  • Sound Card: DirectX 9.0x compatible
  • Additional Notes: Keyboard or dual-analog gamepad; Additional Notes: Initial installation requires one-time internet connection for Steam authentication; software installations required (included with the game) include DirectX and Visual C++ Redistributable 2010.

Recommended System Requirements

  • Operating System: Windows 7 64-bit, Windows 8.1 64-bit or Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: Intel Core i5 or better
