Dragon Age: Inquisition developer Bioware is hosting a competition for would-be designers. The contest named as “Untold Relics of Thedas Contest,” will ask participants to design an in-game item.

For instance, you can design a new amulet, ring or belt for Dragon Age: Inquisition, but that’s not all, you will also have to come-up with an interesting backstory for the item you design.

Winners will receive a special Dragon Age: Inquisition prize pack. Submissions for the competition have begin:

Starting July 15, 2015, we will be accepting your submissions for the Untold Relics of Thedas contest. Using the ability list found here, we want you to create a new and exciting accessory item for possible inclusion in Dragon Age: Inquisition

Like the post mentioned, the item may possibly be added to the game as a DLC, so bring your best work forward. The contest closes on July 20, 2015 at 11:59 P.M. PST and winners will be chosen by a panel of judges at Bioware.

Designs will be judged based on creativity, “originality, appropriateness to the topic, and how they impact gameplay.”

Full list of rules and regulations for the contest are found here, and the list of attributes that can be modified is available here.
