Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection HD Screenshots are Not Bad
With Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End coming next year, it came as no surprise that the original games would get a remaster for the Playstation 4. Now we have some first look images from the games to show just how good they will look.
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection includes Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception with not only 1080p and 60fps added but also Photo Mode and new trophies.
Coming October 9, 2015 the question on player’s minds will of course be how good the games look. You can have the answer with the following screenshots.
As you can see these images are impressive and do show an upgrade in quality, especially in lighting and shading. What we can’t see in images of course is just how impressive it looks running at the promised speed.
One thing that was interesting to note from the Spanish site was the comment that the first and second game won’t include multiplayer modes. Though when the beta version of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is available the Collection will allow the player access to that. This is obviously going to be a good incentive for people already interested in the collection.
While the remastering of The Last of Us was a popular move for Naughty Dog, it will be interesting to see how many people are interested in Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection which is being developed by Bluepoint Games. Will the lack of multiplayer make a difference? We’ll have to wait and see.
