Pre-Purchase Incentives for Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void Revealed Including Instant Access to Prologue

Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void, the conclusion to the popular game from Blizzard is coming in the Winter and can now be pre-purchased from the official Legacy of the Void website.

Players who choose to pre-purchase will also get immediate access to all three Whispers of Oblivion prologue missions. This also features the legendary Dark Templar Zeratul. Pre-purchasing will also give the players access to the beta version of Legacy of the Void.

“With Legacy of the Void, we’re giving some of Blizzard’s most iconic characters an unforgettable sendoff and delivering the climactic StarCraft finale players deserve,” said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. “At the same time, we’re excited to bring StarCraft II multiplayer into a whole new era with a host of major new gameplay modes and enhancements—we can’t wait to see what the future holds for StarCraft II competition.”

Legacy of the Void will come in different editions, including Standard Edition (physical and digital) for $49.99 and Digital Deluxe Edition ($59.99). This gives unlockable in-game bonuses for other Blizzard games too:

The game will also be available in a retail-exclusive Collector’s Edition. This will include the digital bonus items, special hardcover Starcraft Field Manual, a special DVD and a CD soundtrack. This version will retail at $79.99.

Finally, for those who purchase or pre-order any edition will also unlock access to a yet-to-be-revealed StarCraft Warrior Hero in Heroes of the Storm.
