Lizard Squad Attacking Daybreak Servers In Reply To John Smedley’s Tweets

Lizard Squad DDos Attack on Blizzard

Earlier this week a member of the notorious Lizard Squad, Julius “zeekill” Kivimaki, was convicted for over 50,000 Cyber Crime related charges.

However, he didn’t receive any jail time.

Daybreak CEO, John Smedley wasn’t happy about this and later on took to Twitter and announced his plans to go after Julius, saying that he will get what he deserves, his parents will be held accountable in Civil Counts and more. You can read more on the topic here.

As expected, Lizard Squad didn’t take his remarks about Julius too well. The group is attacking Daybreak servers, and claim that all Daybreak titles are affected.

John Smedley Tweeted about the issue and said:

It will be interesting to see where matters go from here. The activities of this group are getting out of hand and more annoying with each day, it’s about time they are held accountable.

I do believe John Smedley could have reacted in a more professional manner in his Tweets earlier, but he has been through a lot:
