Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate PC Won’t Suffer Like Unity, Ubisoft Assured

According to Melissa MacCoubrey, Director of storytelling and Jeff Skalski, senior producer of Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, the new installment will not suffer the same fate as Assassin’s Creed Unity.

Unity was no doubt a great game and took the series into a new era of gameplay mechanics and freedom. However, Unity will always be remembered by its plethora issues, which even caused developers to cancel the season pass and give free DLC across all platforms.

The game had its fair share of issues on PS4 and Xbox One, however, once again it was PC that was hit the hardest. Thankfully, Ubisoft said it is using a larger team for development of Syndicate, so we can expect an ironed-out AC experience on PC and console.

Similar to Unity, everything in Syndicate is tailor made to represent the era its set in. Players will visit London during the famous industrial revolution.

Weapons and other inventions are designed accordingly.

Syndicate will offer a range weapons and gadgets, including grapple launcher to help Jacob/Evie climb structures in London.

Developers also shared some details regarding the personalities of both Jacob and Evie Fyre. According to new information, Jacob is more fun and is all about getting the job done by all means. Whereas his sister Evie is the embodiment of a true master assassin.

She is calm, reserved and confident.

Both characters are playable in Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate but we are yet to see proper gameplay for Evie. Skalski promised that we will get to see her in action during Gamescom 2015.
