Until Dawn Remains a Pure Singleplayer Experience; Doesn’t Have a Multiplayer Mode

Sony Computer Entertainment has clarified the rumors of the inclusion of a dedicated Multiplayer Mode in its upcoming PS4 exclusive, Until Dawn.

The news of a dedicated Multiplayer Mode alongside the game’s singleplayer experience first appeared in a press release from the company as an ‘Unannounced Mode’.

Speaking to VideoGamer, a Sony representative has confirmed that upto 12-player Multiplayer Mode which was listed by Playstation Asia was indeed an error and has been amended – the game remains a purely singleplayer experience.

Until Dawn was originally slated to release for the Playstation 3 bearing Playstation Movie feature, but was delayed to release on the PS4 and will utilize Dualshock 4 touchpad to make choices by tilting it in different directions.

In related Until Dawn news, the Swedish actor Peter Stormare, known for his work in Fargo and Prison Break will have a ‘powerful performance’ in the game as confirmed by the Playstation Blog. For more details, head over to the post!

Being developer by Supermassive Games, Until Dawn is scheduled to release next month on Aug. 28, 2015 exclusively for Playstation 4.
