Elite Dangerous recently became available on Xbox One via the preview program. It is a space exploration game with trading and combat elements, and players are able to explore an open galaxy based on the Milky Way.

However, we are not here to discuss about Elite Dangerous and its features, so a brief introduction is enough. What we are here to report today is how Elite Dangerous is paying tribute to one of the most iconic sci-fi characters in history. Famous for his role as Spock in Star Trek, he is none-other than Mr.Leonard Nimoy.

The man who inspired millions by his work but left us heartbroken when he passed away at the age of 83 earlier this year.

Elite Dangerous paid tribute to this legendary actor/writer/photographer/director by naming a docking station after him .Yes, there is a “Leonard Nimoy Station” in Elite Dangerous. It is located around the planet Vulcan in the LHS 3006 system.
