Shenmue 3: Shenhua’s Improved Look Shared by Yu Suzuki
The last time we talked about Shenmue 3 was when the developers were discussing their Kickstarter stretch goals and explaining what they were aiming at as the funding goes past $5 million.
This time however, the developers have shared an image of Shenhua showing off how her looks have improved in the game.
Yu Suzuki, the series creator took to his official Twitter profile to share an interesting comparison. We have shared the image below so that you can check it out yourself.
As you can see, she appears to have a thinner face as well as a lesser upturned nose. That being said, her eyes also show improvements.
These changes show that the development of Shenmue 3 is definitely moving in the right direction and that the developers are actually making good use of the funds they have.
Whether you are okay with then putting it up on Kickstarter despite being backed by Sony is a different case, but I would at least wish to point that they are working hard to give us the Shenmue title that we should have.
However, if you are interested in reading up on Sony’s backing which came in contradiction with the game’s portrayal as an independent title, here’s our piece on it.
Shenmue 3 is being developed by Ys Net for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4, the game is expected to come out in December 2017.
