Visceral’s Star Wars Game is Similar to Uncharted and Star Wars: 1313
Voice actor Nolan North (known for playing Nathan Drake from the Uncharted series) has dropped hints about the new Star Wars project that is being worked on at Visceral Games.
While attending a panel at Metrocon, North pointed out that since Amy Hennig is working on the game, you can expect the final product to be styled after the Uncharted series. That isn’t surprising, seeing how Hennig was previously the writer for Sony’s Uncharted franchise, before she jumped ship and hooked up with EA.
That, however, is not something that should start ringing alarm bells. According to North, the game is shaping up to be “awesome.”
If you’re a big fan of Amy Hennig and her style of story, she’s gone to EA and is going to reboot a brand new Star Wars franchise in the style of Uncharted. I happen to know a lot about it and it’s going to be awesome.
Additionally, North also said that the scrapped Star Wars: 1313 has not been forgotten. Visceral Games is taking the best bits from LucasArts’ third-person action title, and integrating them with its own title. He called the new game as “different” from Star Wars: 1313, but “along the same lines.”
Visceral’s upcoming Star Wars game is rumored to be open world. However, since we barely know anything about it, the game is up for any speculation that you can muster.
