Tekken 7 Might Get Announced for Xbox One, PS4 on July 7

Tekken 7 developer says major announcement is coming on July 7; Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions might get announced.

Bandai Namco Entertainment released tekken 7 for Arcades in March, could it be that they are gearing up for an Xbox One and PlayStation 4 announcement on July 7?

We all know that sooner or later the game is going to hit the racks for being sold on consoles, because a promotional video released for Unreal Engine 4 from four months ago had revealed the two consoles among the list of platforms that the game would come out on.

However, Bandai Namco itself has not really talked about it although it has been a few months since the game has been out.

Doesn’t that mean an announcement should come our way soon? I think it does too!

As a matter of fact, Bandai Namco Entertainment has also revealed that they have a major announcement to make on July 7. The official Twitter profile of the series has said so in a tweet; here’s the translation:

On Tuesday, July 7, 2015, there will be a major announcement from the Tekken project, which recently celebrated its 20th anniversary. Please look forward to it. #Tekken7

Now I do understand that this doesn’t mention a console announcement, but seeing how Tekken 7 is already out for Arcades, what else could be a “major announcement?”

Also, new characters and in-game features for the arcade version of the game also don’t account for something so major that they would ask you to lock your reminders on it.

Based on all these assumptions, there is a very high probability of you guys getting a confirmation for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version of Tekken 7.
