Need for Speed

E3 2015 brought us the official reveal of the next Need for Speed title which is called just that. It was awesome enough for us to stay excited and on our toes for whatever the developers have to send our way in the game.

For the same reason we have been keeping an eye out on the game’s content.

While we didn’t get anything new directly related to the content, we do have an idea of how massive it is going to be. If you check out the PlayStation US Store where Need for Speed is listed, you will find out that the game is going to require “36GB minimum save size” for the PlayStation 4 version of the game.

Now we have had games like Batman Arkham Knight and Grand Theft Auto 5 that took around 50GB, but that is not always the case and we also know how big the game’s are.

Also Need for Speed is a racing title which should technically be compared with games like Driveclub and Project CARS (God forbid this game turns out to get a launch like Driveclub though!).

So if we compare it with those games, Electronic Arts’ title is going to take twice as much as those games took. Or in other words, it will take a save size that equals to Driveclub and Project CARS combined!

Increasing the scope, it is actually comparable with Forza Horizon 2, which takes almost as much on Xbox One.

Need for Speed is being developed for PC, PS4 and Xbox One and will be out in the markets on November 3.
