Bethesda Twitchworks Returning to the Wastelands of Fallout 3
Excitement is building around Fallout 4 and people are looking back to previous games with an eye to revisit the post-apocalyptic wastelands and Vaults. The number of people people streaming Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas on Twitch are evidence of this.
It is with this in mind that Bethesda Twitchworks are going to be heading back to the game and maybe revealing some secrets from Fallout 3. The first stream will be Friday at 4pm ET on their Twitch stream.
Looking for fans to take part in the fun and offer advice, it’ll be interesting to see if one of the first things viewers want to see is the town of Megaton blown up. Unless of course they don’t take the more morally righteous decision to not blow up the bomb conveniently left in the town to force you into deciding the town’s fate.
I’m sure that this stream will be one of the more popular ones as Fallout 3 is a game very open for exploration and with Bethesda Twitchworks taking the game all the way from the beginning there will be plenty of dying, and interesting adventures to be had.
One drawback to this will be the fact that lower level players are fair game for the creatures around the wastelands as well as the many raiders just waiting for fresh victims. Some of the better missions also come later in the game when more Vaults are found.
Maybe they can play another stream later with a stronger player? I know that would interest me slightly more.
