Xbox One Exclusive ReCore Gets Its Very Own Box Art

By   /   Jun 24, 2015

Microsoft had a great E3 and it showed how committed the company is to correct the mistakes it previously made with the Xbox One.

The biggest announcement had to be the backwards compatibility but there was something other than that which surely deserves plenty of attention.

Microsoft announced a new game called ReCore with a brand new trailer. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic setting where our protagonist will fight robots.

The concept may not sound very interesting or the most unique, but the good news is that the game’s development is being spearheaded by Keiji Inafune.

Anyways, the game has received its box art and it looks pretty cool. It’s simple and shows the lead character holding a futuristic weapon and a robot dog at her side.

The box art is posted above.

Interestingly, the game might feature some ideas from the long lost Mega Man Legends 3. Keiji Inafune stated:

Maybe not at the level of calling out specific gameplay features that would have gone into Legends 3. To be completely honest, if I had the chance, I would still say, “Yes, I want to still make that game.” In that regard, there’s something probably emotional or spiritual that I feel like on a very high level that I don’t completely lose everything, all my ideas, that I had at that time. They may have been transferred or carried over or been reflected in some way, shape, or form in ReCore. That’s something that is part of me, so it’s going into ReCore.

ReCore is planned for a release on Xbox One next Spring. Take to the comments and let us know what you think of the box art and the game itself.
