The Division Beta Hits Xbox One Exclusively This December

By   /   Jun 15, 2015

A beta for The Division will launch this December exclusively for the Xbox One, Ubisoft announced during Microsoft’s E3 2015 briefing.

No other information has been shared as of yet regarding the content that will be accessible, and whether players will be able to use the game’s online capabilities.

More importantly it has not been clarified whether the beta will be open or closed. In the case of the latter, Ubisoft will have to soon reveal just how an Xbox One user can sign up. It’s possible that users will have to first pre-order the game on the Xbox One to be eligible for the beta this winter.

The Division was recently announced by Ubisoft to be delayed, again. Prior to this, the game was expected to release later this year but now has been pushed into early 2016. Seeing that the game’s beta will be running in December, it’s possible that The Division will release in Q2 2016.

Unless Ubisoft runs with problems and have to further push the game into next year’s holiday season.
