Madden 16 Details Revealed By EA Sports, Draft Champions & Air Supremacy

By   /   Jun 15, 2015

EA Sports has given quite a bit of love this time around to its upcoming American Football game Madden 16.

During the Electronic Arts E3 press conference, EA Sports showed off the new fantasy mode Draft Champions. It resembles Blizzard’s Hearthstone in many ways, as in 15 rounds you pick a draft of one player from a set of three. Once the 15 rounds are completed, AI will fill any empty slots on the team.

That team will then go on the field for short mini-seasons.

In addition to this mode, EA Sports also revealed the changes in the gameplay as well. More emphasis has been given to aerial dominance, with adjustment to the movements of quarterbacks, optimization of the receivers method of receival, and tweaking of the centerbacks to counter this new movement as well.

Madden 16 is arriving on August 25 this year.

Stay tuned as we bring you more news in our full coverage of the E3 press conference.
