Logitech G PlayStation 4 and Xbox One Racing Wheels Announced, Will Cost You More Than The Consoles
If you are a racing game enthusiasts and are willing to spend some money on peripherals, we have some awesome news for you. After plenty of rumors and speculations, Logitech has announced its G series racing wheels for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
For the PlayStation 4, we have the gorgeous G29 Driving Force wheel which is also compatible with PlayStation 3 and PC. Correct me if I am wrong, but this is the first racing wheel released for PS4 since 2013.
On the other hand, we have G920 Driving Force for Xbox One that comes-in with a minor difference in features. Similar to the G29, this one is also compatible with PC.
Both models will cost you a massive $400, which is more than the standard price for Xbox One. Meanwhile the PlayStation 4 is at $399, but it isn’t hard to find a deal less than that.
Bottom line is, these wheels aren’t for our average gamers.
The PlayStation 4’s G29 wheel is slated for a retail release sometime in July, while the Xbox One’s G920 will hit the market in October.
G29 will be present at this year’s E3 in Los Angeles.
Both of these wheels are pretty similar and feature dual-motor force feedback transmissions, to help simulate authentic driving experience. These premium wheels also feature hand-stitched leather-wrapped rims along with a set of stainless steel pedals.
To mimic pressure sensitive car breaks, we also have an online system built-in to the floor pedal units. Do you have pockets deep enough to buy these wheels?
