Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End was announced back in 2013, and since then speculations suggested that Uncharted 4 will be the last entry in the series. Naughty Dog has been vague on the matter and have neither outright confirmed or denied these speculations.

However, back in June 2014, voice actor Nolan North suggested that Uncharted 4 will be the last one. Now, Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann has suggested the same thing on Twitter. In his new post, he said that E3 2015 will be the last time Nathan Drake will attend the event.

From the looks of it, Uncharted 4 will end the story of Nathan Drake, but, it doesn’t mean Uncharted is ending. Could we see a new protagonist carrying on the torch in the future? We feel that Uncharted wouldn’t be Uncharted without Nathan Drake, but knowing Naughty Dog, I think they can pull-it-off with a different protagonist as well.

But this is just my own wishful thinking at the moment.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be released in spring 2016 exclusively on the PlayStation 4. Do you think Uncharted can continue without Nathan Drake?
