In today’s video, we discuss something subjective – are video game remasters good or bad? And...
Someone Completed Fallout: New Vegas In 24 Minutes
A new world record has been made by a player named Ryderc33, who completed Fallout: New Vegas in under 30 minutes. Specifically, in 24 minutes and 15 seconds.
Surprisingly, the previous record was only 28 minutes and was set only five days ago. So how are these people able to achieve this? Well, as it turns out, there is a newly found glitch that increases walking speed up to 165%.
Ryderc33 explained how this happens:
When you cripple your leg, you get slower, and then when you heal it, you’re supposed to get your speed back. By quickloading just before getting crippled, you can confuse the game into giving you the speed back without actually ever losing it ( because we don’t actually really get crippled). So you get a huge speedboost, and walk at 165 per cent of your walking speed.
A mishmash of quicksaving and loading also helped him skip early dialogues. Ryderc33 is not done yet, he says he is looking to improve his time in the future.
He further explained that the speed boost glitch is of two types, “breakable” and “unbreakable.” Breakable speed boost will last as long the player doesn’t quickload again. However, the unbreakable will last even after quick-loading the game.
Planning to giving it a try? I surely will this weekend.
