Naughty Dog Boasts About Its Game Engine Used in Uncharted 4
Naughty Dog is widely regarded as one of the best game development companies out there, and rightly so. The team has accomplished wonders with their brilliant Uncharted titles and the amazing The Last of Us. Of course, a lot of the success lies in how good their Naughty Dog game engine is.
The upcoming Uncharted 4 for PlayStation 4 is likely to raise the standards a few notches up for console graphics and animations, taking full use of Sony’s current flagship console in the best possible way, quadrupling the texture resolution that we found in the previous Uncharted games on the PlayStation 3.
Of course, Naughty Dog employees themselves knows just how good their engine actually is.
Following the announcement of the release of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection in October, Naughty Dog’s lead designer Antony Newman was ready to show off and boast about the game’s engine. We can safely say that Newman has earned the right to do so.

Uncharted 4 is still under development and isn’t expected to be released till next year, but the amount of effort being put into the title and the quality of Naughty Dog’s personnel makes everyone confident that it will be just as big of a success as its predecessors.
Meanwhile, you can take a look at some of the details of the Nathan Drake collection, which also comes with an Uncharted 4 Beta Testing Key. Sweet!
