Fallout 4

Yesterday, we reported that several online retailers started taking pre-orders for Fallout 4, including Bethesda’s official store, and listed the game with a ‘TBA 2015’ release date which later changed to ‘TBA’.

When approached, Bethesda Softworks stated that the online store is operated independantly by Treehouse and the company didn’t share any news related to the release date:

The official store is run independently by Treehouse. We have not shared any news on a release date.

The interesting thing to note here is that Bethesda has not completely denied the possibility of a 2015 release date. Maybe the developer is waiting to go for a full reveal on its first ever Electronic Entertainment Expo conference on Jun. 14, 2015 and the Treehouse accidentally jumped the gun. Whatever the case is, we are sure to know more at the upcoming E3.

For those who don’t know, Treehouse is an independent company which works with various publishers and developers in order to maintain their online stores.

Fallout 4 is confirmed to launch across PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One. Soon after the game’s official announcement, an old leak surfaced online which suggests that current-gen version of the game will launch in 2015 followed by previous-gen version in 2016.

Do you think Bethesda will go for a 2015 release window?
