There have been mixed reactions for Star Wars Battlefront, EA is trying to create something different and are asking us not to compare it with previous franchises.

Something similar once again was stated by Niklas Fegraeus. He claimed that EA is attempting to recreate the franchise, but they are making sure Star Wars DNA remains intact.

Here’s what he had to say:

We’re rebuilding the franchise and creating what we believe and what we want to create, but yes, of course, it’s important that Battlefront has DNA… key things that make it Battlefront.

Star Wars Battlefront allows you to play as iconic characters like Darth Vader and Boba Fett. You can spawn as these characters, but fans have been wondering how the system will work, and the variety DICE has planned for Battlefront.

Fegraeus explained:

Well, it has variations to it that depend on game modes and so on. But you can get it through a power-up system… when you find the hero power-up, that is when you can make your choice. You basically have one life to use all that power; you get to try to turn the tide and win for your team and become a beacon of hope for everyone.

Lastly, Fegraeus said fans are free to play in first or third person views. Star Wars Battlefront is hitting PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC later this year.
