Square Enix recently took to Final Fantasy official Twitter feed and confirmed that Lightning Returns on PC hasn’t been cancelled.

The action role-playing game, which originally launched on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, was slated to launch during the second-quarter of 2015, but fans haven’t heard a single word from the developer until now.

Although the developer didn’t confirm a release window, they did confirm the fact that the game is still coming:

“A lot of people have been asking about Lightning Returns on PC & while we can’t confirm a release date, don’t worry, it is still coming.”

In related Final Fantasy news, Square Enix has also confirmed, though indirectly, that the highly anticipated Final Fantasy XV will not launch in 2015 or even early 2016.

The company recently shared a list of games which it plans to release during its current fiscal year – runs from April 2015 to March 2016 – and it doesn’t contain Final Fantasy XV. But the game director Hajime Tabata stated that the game has reached 60% completion and the company will share updated progress in its next Active Time Report.

Square Enix has also confirmed to make an appearance at E3 2015 on Jun. 16, 2015, but we aren’t sure whether we will hear anything related to Lightning Returns.
