Call of Duty Advanced Warfare is Getting Legendary and Retired Rarities Soon
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare players will soon be introduced to Legendary and Retired gear sets. Both these new rarities are being introduced in the game starting June 9.
To no one’s surprise, Legendary and Retired items will first be on Xbox One and Xbox 360, while PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC gamers will have to wait a bit longer.
Legendary gear are one step above Elite, as explained by Sledgehammer:
The Legendary class kicks off with the uber-rare Sentinel CI (Counter-Intelligence) Gear Set. There is currently only one set in existence, awarded to the very first Grand Master Prestige player in Advanced Warfare, and this is now your chance to collect the rarest gear in the game.
The set in question is made-up of 8 pieces and can be earned through Supply Drops in Advanced Warfare. These items have the highest redemption value in the game and displayed in purple color within the armory. You can also pay for them, thanks to Advanced Supply Drops.
Moving onto Retired items, these aren’t new additions but a removal of the old ones. Developers are removing some of the items from Advanced Warfare.
Those who have these items in their armory can continue using them, however, players won’t be able to earn them any more via Supply Drops or even Advanced Supply Drops.
The first round of items that are being removed include:
- Atlas 45-A3
- Sentinel Mobile
- MP443 Grach – Latitude
- Nigerian Infantry
- PDW – CQB
- KVA Mercenary
When it comes to Legendary set of items, they will also be first on Xbox on June 9 and later on PlayStation and PC. For more details, visit Sledgehammer.
