Next Batch of Free DLC Hits The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt This Wednesday

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will receive the next two pieces of free DLC this Wednesday, May 27, CD Projekt RED has announced.

Players will be able to pick up a new contract called “Missing Miners” and proceed to locate and rescue a group of miners that have gone missing on the job. The second DLC piece is an alternate costume for the sorceress Yennefer.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been promised sixteen pieces of free DLC by the developer. According to the original announcement, these are going to be released every week in batches of two.

So far only four of these pieces have been revealed. The first batch was released last week and included a horse armor set and beard/hairstyle options for Geralt. Today, we got to know about the second batch.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will also be featuring paid DLC in the form of two expansion packs titled Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. These two are said to rack up roughly thirty additional hours of gameplay. The first of them is going to be available this October, while Blood and Wine won’t be released until the first quarter of 2016.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was released just last week to raving reviews and is currently available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
