Nintendo Discontinuing 8GB White Wii U Edition in Japan

Nintendo has announced that it will be ceasing production of the white version of its 8GB Wii U console in Japan.

Those who wish to obtain a white version of the console in the region, will have to opt for the 32GB variant. This model is currently only available in black, but a white edition is planned to release in June.

Nintendo has not clarified whether it also plans to discontinue the white 8GB Wii U console from other regions. At the moment, there are various retailers and third-party sellers who have the specific model in stock over on Amazon and eBay.
