Take Two Interactive, the publishers behind wrestling series based on the WWE universe recently held their earnings call for the fiscal year 2015. While such reports are usually stats and number crunching and tons of other boring stuff, the best part is where they talk about future plans.

The future plan that Take Two Interactive not only talked about but confirmed was WWE 2K16; the game is now officially announced and incoming on October 27, 2015!

Not that this is the first time we have heard of it – everyone knew that the game was coming – but it was unannounced until now.

They also confirmed that WWE 2K16 will be developed for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC and mobile platforms which would translate into iOS and Android both at least and probably Windows Phone too.

Also, the game is supposed to be released in North America on October 27, the rest of the world gets it on October 30.

Not just that, the publishers also teased an unannounced title which will also be developed by 2K. they did not go into details regarding the game, but you can rest assured that it is a AAA title.

Throughout the coming year, we will continue to execute our proven strategy of launching a select array of the highest-quality titles, led by new annual releases of NBA 2K and WWE 2K; Battleborn, a groundbreaking new intellectual property from Gearbox Software; and a soon-to-be announced new triple-A title from 2K.

I guess we will just have to wait to know more about the said AAA title, but as far as WWE 2K16 is concerned, let the talks begin!
