Nintendo’s Silver Mario Amiibo Coming May 29
Nintendo has a very good sense of judging which product can make them a plethora of money, that sense didn’t work in case of the Wii U but that is a different story.
However, when it comes to the amiibo figures, Nintendo nailed it. They are making a ton of money and these figures are more then often sold out at retailers. Fans have been complaining about this issue and Nintendo is trying to improve things.
The company has now announced the Silver Mario amiibo and considering the demand we saw for Golden Mario, this one is also expected to be sold-out soon after release.
Let’s see if Nintendo can keep up with the demand. this time around.
The new figure is coming out on May 29 and thankfully, the exclusive amiibo won’t be priced higher compared to your average amiibo. Meaning Silver Mario can be yours for just $12.99.
On the topic of fans not being able to find their favorite amiibo, Nintendo has issued an apology. Nintendo says:
We appreciate the enthusiasm that our fans continue to show toward amiibo. Sales for the product have exceeded our expectations. We understand how frustrating it can be at times if consumers are unable to find certain figures, and we apologize for that.
Silver Mario is already sold-out on EB Games Australia. It will soon be available for pre-order in other regions as well.
