Tony Hawks Pro Skater 5

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 was announced just a few days ago and since then fans have debated over its $60 price on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is believed that the game looks too “cheap” and feels like a low budget release. However, there was another topic which was discussed over the internet, after retailers listed the game.

For example, Amazon listed the game’s PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions. Let’s compare the listed features and see if you can spot the difference.

Current-Gen Version:

  • Classic Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater Gameplay
  • Seamless online multiplayer
  • Play as a PRO or create a skater
  • Endless shred sessions
  • If you build it they will skate

Last-Gen Version:

  • Classic Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater Gameplay
  • Play as a PRO or create a skater
  • Endless shred sessions
  • If you build it they will skate

See anything different? There is no “seamless online multiplayer.” Why there isn’t any online mode we don’t know, but we can confirm that this isn’t a mistake in the listing. Activision has confirmed that there is no multiplayer mode in Pro Skater 5 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

This will surely be a disappointment for fans on last-gen consoles but at least they don’t have to pay full price. The game will release on PS3/360 for $39.99.
