Madden NFL 16 First Look Trailer Released, Cover Goes to Odell Beckham Jr.

It’s that time of the year when EA starts dropping marketing materials and details regarding their popular sports franchises. While we don’t know much about Fifa 16 for now, apart from it possibly featuring a story mode, we do have our first look at Madden NFL 16.

The publisher shared a new trailer from the game that is brief and doesn’t give much away. However, we do know that the game is coming out on August 25 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Before sharing the game’s first look with the fans, EA announced cover voting results according to which, fans will see New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. on the cover of Madden NFL 16.

According to Darren Rovell from ESPN, Odell at 22 is the youngest athlete to be on the cover of a Madden game. EA Sports senior director of marketing Randy Chase stated:

Odell Beckham Jr. is a true playmaker and a perfect fit for this year’s game. He’s an unstoppable force out on the field, and the Madden NFL 16 cover is further vindication that the fans believe he’s a player to watch in the coming years.

Developed by EA Tiburon in Orlando, Florida, Madden NFL 16 is expected to show-up at E3 next month. So stay-tuned for more details regarding this year’s installment of this epic series.
