The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Developer Diary Talks Monsters
With just over a week to go before its official release, CD Projekt RED has released another developer diary for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
This one has them talking about the game’s different enemies and monsters. The world of Wild Hunt plays host to a variety of dangerous creatures that will not think for a second before trying to shred you to pieces.
As Geralt, it’s important that players discover what weaknesses are there for every type of enemy. This can be discovered through a number of ways and players mostly will find hints during their quests or from NPCs.
Knowing the weakness to your enemies will give you a tremendous advantage in battle, specially if they outnumber you.
The developer diary also has CD Projekt RED highlight the ecosystem of the game, something which the team is very proud of. The game is a living and breathing being on its own, housing a lively world that thinks on its own, with dangers that evolve with time.
On a related note, the game is releasing alongside “The World of the Witcher.” Those interested can purchase the hardcover book from online retailers like Amazon. It contains illustrations, and “in-depth knowledge about the locales, the deadly beasts that inhabit them, and the lethal weapons used to put them down.”
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt releases on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on May 19.
