Electronic Arts has officially opened up voting to choose the athlete who will grace the cover art of upcoming Madden NFL 16 – the process, however, is a tad different this time around.

Instead of just opening up a webpage to cast vote, players will require Madden Ultimate Team or Madden NFL Mobile. After logging in, players will acquire a ‘Cover Vote Collectible’ and use it to cast their votes.

There are 4 available finalists as of this moment:

  • Odell Beckham Jr., New York Giants WR
  • Antonio Brown, Pittsburgh Steelers WR
  • Rob Gronkowski, New England Patriots TE
  • Patrick Peterson, Arizona Cardinals CB

The first phase of voting will end of May 11 and EA Sports will announce the 2 finalists on May 12. On May 13, EA Sports will officially declare the winner on Sports Center:

First-round voting closes on Monday, May 11, at 3 a.m. ET. The two finalists will be announced on Tuesday, May 12. The winner will be revealed on during the 6 p.m. ET SportsCenter on Wednesday, May 13.

An important thing to note here is that the ‘Cover Vote Collectible’ is not for auction. For more information and to read up more, head over to EASports website.

Who do you want to see on Madden NFL 16 cover art? I’m all in for Odell Beckham Jr. The game is set to launch on Aug. 25, 2015 on Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
