Breeze Through an Hour of Wolfenstein: The Old Blood Footage
Bethesda Softworks recently live-streamed gameplay from its upcoming Wolfenstein: The Old Blood standalone title. Over an hour of that footage has now been uploaded on YouTube for your pleasure.
Players can dive right into it if they are unwilling to wait for its release tomorrow. The publisher was pretty confident in showing all of this gameplay, and thus, players shouldn’t be that concerned with any major game spoilers.
Compared to Wolfenstein: The New Order, The Old Blood will be a fairly long experience. The total game length is apparently said to be twice that of The New Order.
The prequel is set in 1946, several years before the events of the first game. Players will fill the shoes of B.J. Blazkowicz and tasked to play through two different parts of the story that will span across a total of eight chapters – presuming four chapters for each part.
Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is going to feature new environments, a host of new enemies, and plenty of new firepower.
Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is going to release on May 5 and is currently available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC for pre-ordering and pre-loading. Early buyers can go straight away and begin downloading the complete game to be ready for release day. The complete installation size currently comes about to 38GB.
The game is priced $19.99 across all platforms and as mentioned before, will be a standalone, downloadable title that does not require you to previously own a copy of Wolfenstein: The New Order.
