David Vonderhaar Discusses Black Ops 3 Create-a-Class, Perks, and More

Treyarch’ Studio Design Director, David Vonderhaar recently shared some interesting details regarding Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.

Responding to fans’ queries over Twitter, Vonderhaar explained how six attachments work on any particular weapon. According to him, there are three base attachments and players need three Wildcards to increase the number to six:

Another change that players will notice is related to Multiplayer Mode Loading Screen. Unlike previous installments, players will see which Specialist Ability or Weapon everyone is equipped with:

Lastly, Vonderhaar confirmed that we will not see Toughness as a perk in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. However, perks such as Scavenger will most certainly make an appearance. Moreover, there are certain perks such as Lightweight which are still on hold, but may appear in the final build:

In related Black Ops 3 news, Treyarch has confirmed that the game will have dedicated servers for Ranked Play along with DirectX 12 support. You can read up more about it here.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is expected to launch on Nov. 6, 2015 for PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One. Anyone who pre-orders the game will receive access to the game’s Multiplayer Beta near E3 2015.
